Floral fabric pattern
Small coral flowers and sage leaves give a fabric designer a rhythm that reads from a distance while keeping individual petals distinct.
Repeat-ready artwork for fabric, packaging and rooms
Create a square pattern tile from a theme, refine its edges, and inspect the same tile repeated in a 3×3 grid. Choose a palette, style and motif density, then download the tile for your layout or the larger preview for review.
Optional reference image
JPG, PNG or WebP up to 5 MB. One image.

01 / Surface studies
Three different repeat briefs show how motif scale and color decisions change the finished surface.

Textile · soft botanical

Packaging · crisp geometry
Interlocking ochre arcs and navy diamonds make a bolder repeat for gift wrap. The 3×3 view helps catch a broken diagonal before a sheet is printed.

Interiors · gentle celestial
A quiet blue background, cream moons and tiny stars keep a nursery wall calm. A single tile can be repeated across a larger room mockup.
02 / The repeat
A seamless pattern is one repeat unit whose left edge meets its right edge and whose top edge meets its bottom edge. When that unit is copied across a surface, the joins should not draw a visible line. This is a different job from making one attractive square picture: a picture can look complete on its own yet reveal a frame, clipped flower, or sudden color change when repeated.
Banana Pro AI starts with the visual brief you write. Add an optional reference when an existing motif or color direction should guide the result. The selected palette, style and density shape the generated artwork. After generation, the workbench prepares a square tile with matched opposing edges and builds the 3×3 check from that exact tile. You can inspect the horizontal seams, vertical seams and four-tile intersections before saving either PNG.
Use the single tile as the repeat source in a textile layout, product packaging design, digital background or room mockup. The 3×3 file is a proof of how the artwork repeats; it is not a substitute for the tile when a design tool asks for one repeat unit. Both files are raster PNGs with explicit pixel dimensions.
03 / Workflow
Name the subject and intended surface. “Loose coral wildflowers for cotton fabric” gives a clearer repeat brief than “pretty flowers.” Add your own reference photo or artwork if its shapes should guide the result.
Choose a palette that suits the product, a visual treatment such as watercolor or clean geometry, and a sparse, balanced or dense motif layout. The output is a square tile; these choices change the generated motif rather than merely recoloring a preview label.
Generate once, inspect the 3×3 view at several zoom levels, and look closely at horizontal joins, vertical joins and the point where four tiles meet. If the edge treatment needs more blending, apply the free local repair and compare it with the base version. Download the single tile for repetition and the preview for approval.
04 / Art direction
Fabric needs motifs that stay recognizable after cutting and stitching. Wrapping paper benefits from a rhythm that reads on folded faces. Nursery wallpaper often needs more quiet background so a full wall does not feel crowded. Put the intended use directly in the theme.
A smooth center cannot prove a repeat works. Inspect both directions at 100% and zoom in on all four corners of the 3×3 board. High-contrast straight lines are especially revealing: one displaced segment can become a visible grid over a large area.
Export the tile as your working asset and retain the preview as a visual check. A 1024 px tile produces a 3072 × 3072 px 3×3 proof. Scaling the browser preview changes only inspection, not either file and not your credit balance. For larger print layouts, confirm the final physical dimensions and resolution in your design software.
05 / Choose your workflow
Choose a workflow by what happens at the join. The preview is most useful when it repeats the exact file you will export.
| Workflow | What you control | What you can inspect | Best next step |
|---|---|---|---|
| Banana Pro AI | Theme, optional reference, palette, style and density in one workbench | Matched tile edges plus a free 3×3 preview from the downloadable tile | Download the tile, inspect the proof, then place it into your layout |
| General square image generator | A prompt and a square canvas | Usually the single image; a repeat check needs another step | Test the edges before calling the square image a pattern |
| Manual repeat in a design editor | Every motif position, vector path and edge by hand | Exact control over joins and print separations | Use when editable vector artwork or press-ready production files are required |
The opposite sides of the tile must meet when copies touch. This workbench processes the generated square so opposing edge pixels match, then repeats that processed tile in a 3×3 check. Examine the visual flow around the join as well as the edge match, especially for straight geometric lines.
Yes. You can attach one JPG, PNG or WebP image to guide the motif. The reference is validated before generation and joins your theme, palette, style and density in the visual brief. Use an image you own or are allowed to use.
No. The 3×3 board, its zoom controls, edge check, local repair and both downloads are made in your browser from the same completed image. Starting a new AI generation uses the credit amount shown beside the Generate button.
You can save the square 1024 × 1024 px tile as a PNG and a separate 3072 × 3072 px 3×3 PNG proof. The preview repeats the exported tile without generating nine separate AI images.
Use the free local edge repair for a wider blend and switch back to the base processed tile if it softens a motif too much. If the composition itself needs different motif placement, revise the theme or density and start a new, separately priced generation.
No. This tool exports a repeat unit meant to cover a surface through tiling. The AI Wallpaper Generator makes one finished screen background at a device ratio. For a room wall, create the repeat here, then check scale and placement in an interior mockup.
Preview the repeat on a product, prepare artwork for a larger print layout, or create a single-screen background.
