Dragon artwork to stencil outline
Task: Prepare a white-background dragon design for line transfer.
Result: Closed outer contours and clear interior scales, with black lines on white.
Tattoo artwork studio

Three ways to use the same source
Each task starts with existing artwork. Choose the mode by whether you need transfer lines, a faithful color extraction, or a deliberate redesign.

02 / Original Tattoo · 1K
Task: Lift a rose tattoo from curved skin without redesigning the petals.
Result: A clean white background while the rose color and petal shapes stay recognizable.

03 / AI Design Upgrade · restore faded lines
Task: Repair incomplete geometric lines in an older tattoo concept.
Result: A more complete geometric structure that visibly differs from faithful extraction.
What it makes
A tattoo stencil generator turns existing tattoo artwork into a new image you can inspect and download as PNG. Stencil Outline asks for black lines on white and removes photographic skin detail. Original Tattoo keeps the design and its colors while lifting it from the photo. AI Design Upgrade is for intentional repair and refinement.
These outputs are different from making a sketch of an entire photo: the subject is the tattoo that already exists, not the arm, person, or background. Always inspect the line structure and lettering before using the image for transfer.
Workflow
Upload a design or photo, crop tightly around the ink, and choose Stencil Outline. Create the result, zoom in to check closed contours and letters, then mirror the export if your transfer process needs it.
Choose one clear design or tattoo photo in PNG, JPEG, or WebP.
Keep the tattoo inside the crop and leave out as much surrounding skin as possible.
Select a mode, generate once, and review small lines, text, and shading.
Mirror, change contrast, or switch to black and white locally before download.
Choose the right tool
Use this page when the ink already exists and you need to preserve or extract it. The three output modes, crop, and local transfer edits keep that task in one workbench.
| Task | Tattoo to Stencil | Photo to sketch | AI tattoo generator |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starting point | Existing tattoo design or body photo | General photograph | New idea or prompt |
| Main result | Line stencil, faithful extraction, or deliberate upgrade | Sketch-style rendition of a photo | New tattoo artwork concept |
| Best fit | Transfer prep or preserving existing ink | Illustrating a scene or portrait | Exploring a design from scratch |
Practical answers
Upload one PNG, JPEG, or WebP image up to 5 MB. A clean design on white is easiest to read, but you can also crop a photo to an existing tattoo before uploading the cropped image.
Stencil Outline asks for black linework on white. Original Tattoo extracts the existing artwork and keeps its colors. AI Design Upgrade may repair or refine the design using your optional instruction; it is the only creative mode.
Yes. After a result is ready, switch on Mirror for transfer. Mirroring, black-and-white conversion, and contrast changes happen locally to the export copy and do not start another AI task.
No. Zoom in on fine lines, letters, and areas affected by skin shadows before using the PNG. A strongly curved, faded, or shadowed tattoo can lose detail, so crop tightly and try again if the structure is wrong.
An invalid file or crop is rejected before generation. If a generation fails, your selected source and crop remain available to retry. If status checks pause, check the original task again; this does not create a second paid task.
Choose extraction for existing ink; choose generation for a new concept.
