Photo to illustration, with room for art direction
The reference supplies the subject; your selected medium supplies the treatment. Ask to preserve a product silhouette, a pet’s distinctive markings or an adult’s hairstyle and facial proportions. A short note such as “keep the copper bottle shape, use coral and cream” is more useful than “make it beautiful.” The result is a redraw, so fine details can change. It is not identity verification or exact product reproduction.
Write a scene, then narrow the visual choices
A useful text-to-illustration prompt names the subject, action, setting and palette. Try “a red bicycle with a basket of lavender outside a bakery, warm spring colors” with Watercolor, or “a lemon branch beside a blue cup, yellow spot color on ivory paper” with Ink & color. Avoid camera and lens instructions; they pull toward photography. Use medium descriptions instead of living illustrator names or protected studio styles.

Raster PNG, without the vector promise
The download contains pixels, not SVG paths. A clean flat appearance does not make an image a vector file. You can place the PNG into Figma or a presentation, but you cannot edit its individual shapes as native vector objects. Choose a verified SVG workflow when that is a requirement. Transparent backgrounds are not offered here.
Need several illustrations? Repeat the palette and medium in each prompt, then review them side by side. This tool generates one image per run and does not guarantee a consistent three-image pack.
Questions before you illustrate
Can I generate an illustration without a photo?
Yes. Select Text to illustration and describe a scene. The text workflow does not send a reference image.
Can I turn a product or pet photo into an illustration?
Yes. Photo mode accepts one JPG, PNG or WebP reference. Add a note about the details you want to keep. Product geometry and pet markings can drift, so review the output.
Does this produce SVG or Figma-editable illustrations?
No. This tool produces raster images, with PNG output in our capability checks. Placing a PNG in Figma does not turn it into editable paths.
Is this the same as photo to sketch?
No. This tool creates composed illustrations with color and painted or ink media. It is not a pencil or charcoal conversion tool.
Can I use illustrations commercially?
Use inputs you have permission to process and review the result for third-party rights, resemblance and accuracy. Generation does not grant trademark clearance or guarantee exclusivity. Follow the site terms.
Are generations free?
A signed-in account and 30 credits are required for each generation. Regenerating starts a separate paid run. Failed generation tasks use the site’s existing credit refund flow.
